Best Valentine’s Day Ever

I usually hate Valentine’s Day and when I say hate, picture fire shooting from my eyes and mouth. Imagine curdling screams and anger filled voices. I loathe it.
This time was different though. Christy and I had a lovely Valentine’s day evening. We threw some Salmon filets on the grill, cooked up some garlic dill potatoes and snacked on lobster cakes as well! Very lovely, very relaxing, no hype. It gave me new found faith in Valentine’s day, even though I do agree with Jim Gaffigan and his thought that St. Valentine was just the patron saint of over priced greeting cards.

It was the best ever and the best card and the best present. If it is possible I love you just a little bit more than I did on the 13th.
A new tradition is born!
