    It’s like Crack.

    By Nick | April 5, 2008

I have a confession to make…I made another trip to Jerry’s Artarama and purchased another $50 worth of art supplies…then went to Lowe’s to buy even more stuff for making art.  It’s an addiction…I am assuming like crack.  Painting the day before yesterday was the Creative Drano that I needed to free up this artistic block I have been having I think.

The good news is that as of last night I have moved my screenprinting skills forward light years.  I found a video on Youtube and bam…away I went.  I am now doing photo emulsion burning on screens in my  kitchen.  This is very exciting stuff.  I can’t wait to see what I come up with next!

Photo emulsion, um, I am familiar with the technique but haven’t ever used it. I prefer to cut the screen from ulano film and then adhere it with the nasty toxic chemical stuff/adhering solution, though burning would be a lot easier I’m thinking. I make the kids cut their screens to, they hate it, but they like the product afterwards, so it all works out.

I think I’m old fashioned, or old, or something, heh, oh really I’m just cheap, too cheap to buy one of those machines that burn the design, yeah that’s it, cheap.

      Creative Drano????
How about a creative enama? The analogy is more fitting. :)
