Too Much

Yet another from my polaroid experiments. There is something about this film that I just love. I know that all the photos are blurry and there are tons of imperfections in the color and the consistencies on the images, but I love the feeling that the pictures evoke for me. They are more organic or something.
I have just won an auction for a bunch of expired film on eBay…and am looking forward to experimenting with it. Generally, the longer the film has been expired, the stranger the results from the shots. To be honest…all the pictures I have taken with my polaroids have been from expired film. I guess I really should try some that is fresh. Off to eBay.
Oh yeah…the above image was taken last summer after Christy and I had grilled out in the backyard. Its composition is strange to say the least…but…it is what it is. I like it.

Nick, I like all the experimentation that you are doing with your photography. I can’t wait to see just where you are going to take all of it. I would have never thought about buying expired film on ebay. Brilliant idea.
