Looking at the World Through New Windows
By Nick | May 8, 2008
Yesterday the guys came in to install my new windows. This is something that I have beeen wanting to do since I moved into this place. I finally had an opportunity present itself that I could not pass up so I went ahead and ordered the windows and new siding.
These windows are kick ass! Not only can I see out of them (several of the old ones were fogged up), but the soundproofing in comparison to the cheapy ones that were in here is unbelievable!! I used to be able to hear every car that passed by my house…making it rather difficult to sleep at night. Now I only hear an occasional whoosh. I highly recommend these windows…they are manufactured by a company called BFRich. Their website is crummy, but the windows rock!
Once the siding is completed, I will post before and after pics.

Oh man I know exactly how you feel, I got new windows just this past November.
I don’t miss the cracks in the old ones where they were hit by a stray rock from the lawnmower, and I don’t miss having to prop them up with a stick and hold my tongue just right when putting them up so the window didn’t literally fall out of the cheapo aluminum frame, and I don’t miss hearing the wind whistle through them, and having to clean them on the inside and having to run outside and clean them on the outside too. Now I have those windows that can be opened and cleaned from inside, hell I barely know how to act.
And they are beautiful! I can so relate, I’ve NEVER had such nice windows in my home before and I really had to be forced to put up window treatments because I enjoy looking at them so much, oh and out them!

This is Nick-speak for “I know some mobbed-up guy who got them off the back of a truck” right??

Your Monty Python humor is wasted on Nick, but I get it…wink wink, nudge nudge…know what I mean, know what I mean?
