Gene Simmons can KISS it!

Gene Simmons from KISS claims that Radiohead’s concerts are boring. WTF!? Yes it is true that I am a bit biased, but I don’t know where he gets off thinking that the concerts are boring. With the LED lights and videos, it is quite a show. Sorry they arent putting on a Gwar-like performance (Gwar does rock by the way) and spraying the crowd with flames and stageblood, Gene. Both times I saw them I enjoyed the visuals immensely. Maybe the fact that their music has substance means that they don’t have to, as Gene says, “blow shit up”. Pyrotechnics are cool and all, but why don’t you guys (KISS) back it up with some evolving music that sees past the 80s?!

Okay Nick, I know you missed the 80′s and the “real” KISS and being a member of the KISS army, so I will cut you some slack on this one and remind you that if KISS evolved it would not be KISS. I saw them in ’76 and ’96 and both shows were amazing. You have not lived until you have to check your eyebrows after the flashes even in the cheap seats (and they do not spray blood, Gene just dribbles it down his face, BTW).
The Radiohead show was most certainly not boring and I loved every minute of it, and I love them so…but don’t be talkin’ smack about the God of Thunder!!!!

when they film Radiohead Meets The Phantom, then…THEN…we can compare and contrast.

Gene Simmons is a narcissitic twit.
Kiss’s music never lived up to the image that they tried to portray.
I actually like Radiohead.
