No, Really!

I am constantly inundated with solicitors ringing my doorbell. Once I got my vinyl cutting machine the first thing I did was make a sticker that said, NO SOLICITORS! But apparently that doesn’t mean anything to most people. I still get ringers all the time! Today I added “No Really, NONE!” (Excuse the blurry photo…I took it with my camera phone) I had this idea at first, but thought it would be tacky and then I saw that my friend Missy had a picture of it on her Myspace….so it re-inspired me to get a little rude about it. If this doesn’t work, I think I will have to put up a sticker with the definition of the word Solicitor.
I actually had a guy come a few weeks ago and he started rambling on and on about something and I said to him “STOP! Do you see what that sign says?” His reply (I shit you not) was “I am legally blind in my left eye.” I told him to use his right eye and then slammed the door in his face.
So if anyone wants one of these stickers, let me know…I can make one up for you! Solicitors are EVIL!

I have a similar issue at my salon. We have two parking slots for customers. We tow people who park there who are not in the salon. I have tried to make it clear that parking there is a mistake. The first sign said:
salon parking only, violators will be towed
The next one:
salon parking only 24 hours
the next one:
salon parking only 24 hours $275 fine (the tow fee)
My plan for the next sign?
Do not park here if you are not getting your hair done. I will fucking tow you. Really. I mean it.
