I hate it when people say:
“Irregardless” instead of “Regardless”
“We take it for Granite” instead of “We take it for granted”
And when people say “Like” more than 5 times in a paragraph.
Ugh.

One of mine is when people say, “refer back”.

I’ve always hated “110%”…so you are going to give more than is possible?
Also, and this is just me, when I fly they always make the announcement to turn off all portable electronic devices…as if I have a permanently affixed electronic device that I’ve somehow managed to have installed on this airplane.
Anything I carry on board is by its very nature ‘portable’.
But then what can I expect from people who ask me to ‘pre-board’
