    Web Navigation Should be Consistent, Fools!

    Nothing chaps my ass more than when I go to a website and click through the pages and find that the navigation section moves on me. Sometimes its on the left, then the next page it is on the top…then it shows up on the right. Keep it the same on all pages people!

    Changing it up more than twice on a site is a recipe for disaster. People will get confused, then frustrated, and in the end will bail on your site. If you want to keep them where they are (your site) you really really really need to keep the navigation links consistent! I don’t care where you put them, just make sure that they stay put!
