Nick Gets a Shiner

I’d like to say I was in a knock down drag out fight…or that I was training for a cage fight, but unfortunately I can’t. I got this nice little shiner on Friday while surfing at Croatan by the Jetty.
I was on a nice little wave going down the line when I lost my footing and fell directly into the rail of my surfboard face first. I guess it could have been worse. I could have ended up with a fin up my ass.

Nick, you are actually lucky. Many times when you get hit on the upper eye like that you get a nasty cut that requires stitches.
