The Literate Squirrel

Whoever said squirrels can’t read clearly hasn’t met the one living in my backyard. Check him out…he’s straight up reading a novel!
At lunch today Christy and I were looking out the back door and we saw a squirrel sitting on the fence. Christy always tells me stories of how when she was little they took matchbooks or business cards and put peanut butter in them and it made the squirrels look like they were reading a book. I wanted to see it in real life so I moved quickly, got a card and stuffed it with peanut butter. I never thought the squirrel would stick around, but I was wrong. I guess he was hungry because he didnt seem to mind that it had no sugar added!
