This time tomorrow I will be well on my way to Mexico with my father. It is my goal not to check my email at all while I am down there. Great…when I get back I will have to fumble through 1243509 emails about Viagra and male enhancement pills.

I kissed Nick goodbye at 3:35 this morning and away he went to Mexico. Yes, the thought of slipping his passport out of its designated space and into my pocket did cross my mind…but only for an instant. I miss him like he has gone to the moon and won’t be back for a year.

You guys are so darn adorable. I’ll miss Nick’s blog every day! Tell him he has to write 6 entries on the day he gets back to make up for the 6 days he’s gone.

I think we should play a game while Nick is gone and just write a fake blog for him:
Mexico Trip, Day One-
Dear blog,
I should really know better than to trust some locals when they ask me to watch their goats while they are inside the bank. Who knew that bank robbers would actually use getaway goats for their escape?
I guess I’ll have plenty of time to think about it while I spend the night in this dingy Mexican prison.
Carlos, my cell mate, has been making strange noises at me all evening, and then an hour ago he broke out in song. I’m not sure what “caliente” means, but Carlos seems quite fond of saying it to me over and over again.
Well blog, I have to go now. Carlos and some of the other fellows want to teach me a game called ‘catch the bullfighter’…sounds like fun!
