Defective Hammer
By Nick | October 6, 2009
While putting up some new wooden siding on Christy’s house this weekend I came to the realization that the hammer I was using is defective. It kept hitting a few inches to the left. The reason I know it is defective is because I smashed the crap out of my pinky and think that it might actually be broken. Some people have told me that it is operator error, but I refuse to believe that. I am sticking to the idea that my hammer needs to be recalibrated or even replaced.

Poor Nick. Your fingers always take the fall in the home repair and improvement projects…I think it is (much like my carpal tunnel from painting) a clear idication that we are not destined to do the labor, but to pay someone else…
