POOF! Its all over.

Now that wasn’t so bad. Christmas 2007 turned out to be one of the better ones of my lifetime. Very litle stress, no arguments. . . smooth sailing if I do say so myself.
It is kind of funny though that we prepare for Christmas Day for weeks and weeks only to have it be over in what seems like an instant. Sort of like when you spend all day cooking something and then when it is time to eat, the meal is gone in 10 minutes. Shopping, ordering, traffic jams and decorations are all so overwhelming when it is happening. After it is over, however, I look back and say to myself ‘it really wasn’t that bad’.

It was indeed a lovely low stress day. Thank you for another great Christmas…our seventh…isn’t that wild??!!

I must say, this was the least stressful Christmas of my life. Bucking the traditions of “Shopping, ordering, traffic jams,” and my family allowed me to sit back and appreciate and enjoy the day for what it was. And I loved your mom’s sugar cookies. And Christy, I put the Queen of Quite-a-Lot ornament on my tree, and Anastasia and I agree that it fits me perfectly!
