Scored a cool gig!

A lady that I have done web site design work for in the past contacted me a few days ago asking if I would send her a quote for a new project she is working on that is right up my alley. It is a site for the Virginia Beach Surf Art Expo. She agreed to my quote, so soon I will have the site up and operational.
I was so excited about the prospect of this project that I went ahead and pretty much designed the site (its a very small site) before she gave me the go ahead. Sometimes I jump the gun, but the way I look at it, even if the customer doesn’t agree to my quote, I have something to add to my portfolio and also a fresh site to use for another client in the future by just popping their logo in. On top of that, I usually have fun doing it.
Being that this is something I am passionate about, I am looking forward to getting the site up live.
