Monday, June 16th, 2008This is a picture that my good friend Jeff Holladay took of the band Deathcab For Cutie (an awesome band by the way)that will appear in Nylon magazine within the next month or so. Jeff moved to Los Angeles last August to pursue two of his passions, better surf, and an immersion in the […]
Waiting
Thursday, May 1st, 2008This was drawn several years ago…like over 10. It is titled “Waiting”. I am not sure what I was waiting for when I drew it, I can only guess. But it got me to thinking that I tend to be waiting for things to happen a lot. That’s a bad way to be and […]

The Many Faces in My Head
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008Whenever I sit down to draw something I always seem to be focused on faces. Its wierd. They are more organic […]
New Header Image

EX MARQUES THE SPOT
Thursday, April 17th, 2008This is a piece I worked on last summer in a class that I was taking with mom. The medium is called Encaustics. It is the process of heating up wax and applying pigments to it. This piece is done on a piece of wood. Its got a lot of texture to it that […]
Qatar Bound…Not me, my sister!
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 As some of you may know, my sister is a fashion design student (and a damn fine one too) at VCU in Richmond, VA. Today I got a call from her saying that she and her design partner had won a design contest.
From her blog:
May 5th I’ll be going to Qatar for a week. […]
