Tonight I was going through some papers in my desk and I came across my original birth certificate.  I always laugh when I see it because the story that goes along with my footprint that is on it is hilarious.

You see when I was born I was a little bit jaundiced and had to immediately be whisked away to have tests run.  They apparently took me so quickly that my parents didn’t have the chance to fully check me out.

Before the doctor brought me back in to where my parents were, a nurse had given them my birth certificate with the footprints on it.  As you can see by the image, it appears as though I am missing a toe.  Well my parents freaked.  Lucky for me, one of my toes wasn’t pushed down when they were making the print.

Over the past two years, I have steadily made significant upgrades to Christy’s house. Today all that went down the drain. The hot water heater failed and left a path of destruction. This evening I got to watch the guys from Servpro rip up everything I worked so hard for. I am pissed.
