Another Pair Lost

Yesterday I had to go out and purchase another pair of sunglasses. What’s the deal with me and sunglasses? Everytime I buy a nice set, I inevitably lose them. The ones that I paid $5 for or the ones I found in the middle of the street are going 3 years strong. I can’t give them away! We’ll see how long these last. I am not hopeful.

Nicaragua Ain’t So Bad

My sister Callie left the other day for a trip to Nicaragua with a group who will be volunteering at an orphanage for a week. Here’s a pic they had up on their blog that they are updating everyday while they are there.

Callie did this last year and it made her feel so good to help out these needy people that she decided to do it again this year. She’s a good kid, that’s for certain!

Pee on the Bee!

I saw this in Charlottesville this past weekend at the visitor’s center men’s restroom in the downtown mall. I guess some guys need a little help getting pee in the urinal. Enter the bee sticker. Strategically positioned in all of the urinals in that bathroom, it gives guys an incentive to get it in the toilet! Pee on the Bee fellas! Target practice has never been so fun!

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog

First off let me say that I hate…I repeat HATE musicals. Something about people singing words that they can just as easily say pisses me off. Phantom of the Opera = Crap, Chicago= More Crap. You get the idea.

Anyways, that being said, this musical kicks ass. It’s hilarious. To me it’s reminiscent of something Jack Black would do. Released only to the internet so far, soon to be on DVD. If you have 45 minutes, take a look at this. It kicks ass.

Crepes To Go

While in Charlottesville this weekend, Christy and I checked out this little hole in the wall place that we had been hearing about. Its called The Flat. Located on Water Street in the Historic Mall, this place is quite a find!

They put whatever you want in a crepe and hand it to you in this crazy little cone. Great stuff and surprisingly filling.
